Epidemiology presentation
The Inquiry has commissioned a report from Dr Ashley Croft, Consultant Public Health Physician and Medical Epidemiologist, on the accepted scientific and medical understanding of coronavirus and COVID-19 as it existed in late 2019 and developed during the pandemic, up until the end of 2022.
Dr Croft is an independent expert. The views expressed in his report are his own professionally informed opinions. The contents of the report, in the same way as any other evidence received by the Inquiry at this time, do not in any way pre-empt the eventual conclusions and recommendations the Inquiry will make.
