Preliminary hearing update

The Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry’s preliminary hearing will be confined to 28 August 2023.

The session is an opportunity for the Inquiry to explain how it will go about its work and will lead to the first set of impact hearings in October 2023.

Those wishing to attend the preliminary hearing were required to submit a request to attend by 14 August, and all applicants were notified by 16 August as to whether they had been successful in obtaining a place. The preliminary hearing is now at full capacity.

There will be a livestream of the preliminary hearing on the Inquiry’s website, starting from 9.45am on Monday, as well as on the Inquiry’s YouTube channel.
