Let’s Be Heard invites people to share their experiences before surveys close on 29 November
Let’s Be Heard, the Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry’s public participation project, will finish gathering people’s experiences of the pandemic on Friday 29 November 2024.
This date also marks the closure of the surveys for children and young people, and education and childcare staff.
People who were in Scotland during the pandemic (January 2020 to December 2022) are invited to share their experiences before the end of November and help inform the Inquiry’s investigations and the recommendations that will be made to Scottish Ministers.
Since launching its National Engagement Period in May 2023 and subsequent Focused Engagement Period earlier this year, Let’s Be Heard has gathered more than 10,000 experiences of the pandemic in Scotland.
In November 2023, it published an interim report, detailing its initial findings from a sample of responses received in the first few months of gathering experiences.
Let’s Be Heard will now focus on analysing the information people have shared and build on those initial findings published last year.
